Fair Housing: Legal, Ethical, and Demographic Considerations (8956)


Description
This is a four-hour NCREC approved elective that also meets the requirement for NAR's members (who must take a fair housing course before Dec. 31, 2027.

We are going to examine why complying with fair housing laws is the legal thing to do; the ethical thing to do; and the prudent things to do. We will discuss current fair housing laws, ethical issues and dilemmas associated with compliance, and the demographic imperative as well as cultural proficiency. Best practices will also be addressed.
